Weta Workshop model maker, David Tremont, fashioned the 1:4 scale miniature version of Th‚odred's Helm using the original movie prop as reference. Made from polystone, this highly detailed statue measure about 5 1/2-inches tall and limited edition of 750 pieces. Son and heir of the King of Rohan, Th‚odred was as fine a horseman as any of his people, riding with his parents before he could walk. Poisoned by the King's treacherous servant, Wormtongue, Th‚odred was buried with honor in his armor, sword upon his breast and etched helm of brass and steel at his feet, in the barrows before the citadel. There he would join his forefathers to sleep beneath the delicate blooms of the simbelmyn‰ until the end of days.
