The Mueller Orthopedic Shoulder Brace is designed with a unique rear attachment to support and help reduce acromioclavicular separation of the shoulder joint. In orthopedic rehabilitation programs the Mueller Shoulder Brace provides firm, dependable support for dislocated shoulders. The Brace consists of two main parts - a six-inch wide elastic shoulder strap attached to a ten-inch wide elastic chest band. The chest band fastens with velcro at the center to the chest. The shoulder strap contains a foam padding for localized compression on the shoulder joint and fastens with velcro at the center back. This rear attachment creates a downward pull and backward pressure on the shoulder which reduces subluxation of the A.C. joint. An arm sling secured to the forward chest band helps to immobilize the arm. Six-inch wide shoulder strap creates a downward pull and backward pressure on the shoulder. Foam padding sewn into shoulder strap provides comfort and localized compression. Ten-inch wide elastic chest band assists in securing shoulder. Two arm slings attached to chest band immobilize the arm and provide added comfort.
