"Panasonic AJ-YDX30G Brand New, The Panasonic AJ-YDX30G is a high resolution proxy encoder that allows to record compact proxy video files at selectable bit rates on SD memory cards. Four H.264 and MPEG-4 proxy profiles are selectable, with image sizes ranging from 960 540 (3.5 Mbs) down to 320 240 (1.5 Mbs) . Bit rates go as low as 800 kb/s in H.264 format . The largest of the proxy profiles supports uncompressed audio. AJ-YDX30G board has the small size and relative high quality proxy encoding that makes it suitable for high-volume, high-speed editing workflows such as those required for reality TV and long-form documentary work. The proxy board essentially creates instant offline files for logging, review, and edit on leading NLEs.
